Project description:

The project involves the reconstruction of a railway line with a total length of 12 km, including the modification of the track layouts at the stations Osek, Louka u Litvínova and Litvínov. The line speed of the upgraded track geometry was adjusted to up to 100 km/h. Modifications were designed at platforms in the stations (Osek, Louka u Litvínova and Litvínov) and at the stops (Háj u Duchcova, Lom).

The project includes adjustments to the signalling system, telecommunications equipment and power-supply systems. It also involves modification of the overhead contact line in the 3 kV DC traction system, with provisions for future conversion to the 25 kV 50 Hz AC traction system.

The project additionally includes remediation of the embankment body over a length of 2 km.

As part of the works, a new building was constructed at Louka u Litvínova station, and the station building at Litvínov station was reconstructed.

The project also includes a grade-separated overpass on a Class I road, eight bridge structures, and ten culverts.
