Construction of the Rajhrad Branch — Rajhrad

Project description:

The project involves the construction of a new junction, consisting of four turnouts 1:14–760 designed for speeds of 80 km/h. The track geometry was modified over a length of approximately 800 m, with a line speed of 160 km/h. The project includes adjustments to the signalling system, including the ETCS system, telecommunications equipment, and power-supply systems. The works also involve modification of the overhead contact line in the 25 kV 50 Hz AC traction system.

The project further includes the reconstruction of the existing station building and the construction of a new technological facility intended to house new power-supply equipment.

The project also comprises an overpass on a local road and a bridge structure.
