Geology as another pillar of the SAGASTA Group

Skupina SAGASTA rozšiřuje své odborné kapacity. Nedávno jsme získali 40% podíl ve společnosti K-GEO s.r.o., ostravské firmě specializující se na komplexní geologické práce.

K-GEO s.r.o. has been operating on the market since 1996. During its nearly thirty years of existence, it has completed almost 4,000 projects covering the entire spectrum of geological activities. It currently employs approximately 15 specialists and holds a number of industry licenses and certificates.

With this investment, we are continuing the systematic expansion of activities that the SAGASTA Group is able to provide using its own capacities. Geology was the only area missing from our professional portfolio until now – by joining K-GEO, we are naturally filling this gap. At the same time, this step follows on from last year’s acquisition of VPÚ DECO Praha a.s.

Stable leadership and effective cooperation

The majority 60% stake in K-GEO continues to be held by its founders: Radmila Kleinová, Luděk Kovář, and Jan Šťastný. The latter two will continue to manage the company, while representatives of the SAGASTA group will serve on the supervisory board.

The aim of the cooperation is to create space for closer links between K-GEO’s geological work and the design and engineering activities of the SAGASTA group. This will enable teams from both companies to work together on complex solutions from the early stages of projects and to share their know-how and many years of experience.
